Come grow with us! We are looking for a Junior-level Accountant with a strong work ethic to be an important part of the team based in Burlington, NC. We are seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy, intellectually curious candidate with excellent communication skills and the ability to learn quickly. In this role, you will manage cash and related transactions, send out customer invoices (AR), make vendor payments (AP). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Maintain and process accounts receivable, invoicing process and collections. Maintain and process accounts payable, ensure timely payment of invoices, confirming validity of the debt and gathering appropriate signatures. Prepare bank reconciliations. Updating financial records via accounting software (QuickBooks) Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered. Preparation & Completion of Month End Tasks Take on tasks assigned by the Controller and Senior Accountant to assist in completing business requirements. Ideal professional will have the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting 3+ years of work experience in accounting Extreme attention to detail and meticulous organization Adaptable team player who can juggle multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines Microsoft excellence, specifically Microsoft Excel QuickBooks experience a plus Bill.com experience a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work both independently and as a team player Positive attitude We offer: Health/Dental/Vision Insurance available 3 weeks paid time off 401k – matching plan And an AMAZING team of people to work with!
