Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a CostAccountant for our Biotech Manufacturing client located in Leland,NC 28451. The Cost Accountant is responsible for preparing andreviewing inventory reconciliations, creating journal entries,reconciling balance sheet accounts, and supporting period-end closeand audit. This role requires strong technical accounting skills incost analysis, inventory management, financial reporting, and ERPsystems (SAP preferred). The ideal candidate has both public andprivate accounting experience, hands-on ERP expertise, and a deepunderstanding of cost control processes. This is a key positionwithin the core Supply Chain Accounting group, requiring stronganalytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to workindependently. Job Responsibilities:

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes bypreparing and reviewing journal entries related to accruals,deferrals, reclasses as well as recurring entries. Record and reconcile advances to suppliers, prepaids, payrollexpense and other monthly accruals. Generate and analyze financial reports to support period-endreporting and audit requirements, including roll forwardschedule. Create, support, and present key reports for management to helpdrive timely business decisions. Compile inventory reports monthly from multiple sources andidentify variances from SAP. Assist with Job Process reconciliations. Perform balance sheet reconciliations to analyze the completenessand accuracy of financial accounts in line with accountingstandards as well as internal controls and complianceguidelines. Maintain clear documentation to support financial movements ininventory. Collaborate with other groups within the accounting function andsupply chain. Participate and give input related to process improvement effortsacross accounting and supply chain activities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, or related field. 3+ years of recent experience as a Cost Accountant, corporateaccountant, or similar role Hands-on

SAP FI/CO

experience, including use of SAP T-Codes forcost analysis, inventory reconciliation, and financialreporting Experience with US GAAP and internal controls / SOX Compliance Hands on experience with enterprise software applications Advanced Excel proficiency: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH,SUMIF, Power Query, and financial modeling Strong communication skills and ability to present financial dataeffectively Inquisitive approach to process improvement and financialperformance improvement Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in afast-paced environment Experience in manufacturing plants (e.g.: Pharmaceutical, Biotech,Fermentation). Prior experience with cost analysis (actuals vs. budget, prioryear, standard costs). Experience with gross margin analysis by product. Experience of managing prepaids/advances and payroll &benefits.
