A StaffAccountant is responsible for the accounting and reconciliation ofthe general ledger, homebuilding reporting and tracking, revenuerecognition, cash receipts and deposits, month-end reports. Your Responsibilities on the Team Assistswith month end close Maintains sound accounting methods and systemsin accordance with corporate policies and procedures Preparesjournal entries Prepare bank account and general ledgerreconciliations Assists in special projects analysis Overseereconciliation of suspense account activities Recording incomingwire transfers and returned items Ensures accuracy of monthlybacklog profitability reports. Assists in preparation accuracy ofweekly reporting requirements Prepares monthly revenue entries,various month-end accruals, reclass and allocation entries RunsESSBASE system on a daily basis during the month end close andintermittently throughout the month to track all overhead expensesfor accuracy and to compare to original budges, projections, andforecasts Runs monthly fixed assets when required. Preparescommission package for review. Supports accounts payableactivities. Any other responsibilities as assigned. QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Accountingrequired or combination of equivalent education and experience.
