This role is ideal for an experienced accountant looking to reduce their workload, transition to part-time, or maintain a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Reconcile bank accounts for both companies Prepare and post necessary adjusting journal entries (mostly assigning expenses for payroll and credit cards to appropriate cost centers) Generate and deliver accurate month-end Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss Statements Collaborate with ownership to ensure timely and accurate month-end close Work within STORIS (Casual Furniture World) and Netsuite (Triad Cushion), both of which feature integrated financial reporting suites and tools.

Qualifications:

Proven experience with month-end accounting and financial reporting Familiarity with accounting software such as Quickbooks, Netsuite, Sage or similar. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently CPA preferred but not required
