This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with flexible scheduling and a focus on work-life balance. What You’ll Do Tax Return Preparation & Review:
Prepare and review individual and business tax returns (including multi-state), ensuring federal and state compliance.
Client Tax Planning:
Conduct tax projections and develop financial strategies to minimize liabilities.
Depreciation & Records:
Maintain depreciation schedules and analyze client accounting records to support accurate filings.
Mentorship & Training:
Provide guidance and resources to junior accountants.
Client Support:
Assist with accounting system issues (QuickBooks), adjusting journal entries, and general client inquiries.
IRS & State Notices:
Research and respond to federal and state notices with timely and professional resolution. What We’re Looking For CPA Certification (Required)
Experience:
3•7 years in public accounting, focusing on tax
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication Strong accounting, research, and analytical skills QuickBooks and general tech-savviness Ability to manage deadlines and juggle multiple priorities Why Apply?
