Staff Accountant Position Available In Forsyth, North Carolina

Description We are looking for a meticulous Staff Accountant to join our team in Winston Salem, North Carolina. In this role, you will handle essential accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with company policies. Responsibilities:

• Manage the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all financial records are consistent and up-to-date.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger to support accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with the month-end close process, ensuring all deadlines are met and reports are completed.
• QuickBooks
• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial records and accounts.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting procedures and workflows.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Generate financial reports to support decision-making and strategic planning. Requirements
• Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger maintenance and journal entry preparation.
• Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks
• Familiarity with the month-end close process and financial reporting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
