Judge Adams Road, Whitsett, NC 27377 This is a full-time on-site role for a Cost Accountant located in Whitsett, NC. In the Cost Accountant on site role, you will: Conduct financial modeling on a range of financial products. Measure, analyze, and forecast performance in line with operating plans. Advise management on resource allocation to achieve business objectives. Prepare reports for management use. Focus on forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. Support strategic and financial planning methods. Build long-range operating plans aligned with business imperatives. Develop rolling forecast processes to optimize quarterly resource usage. Enhance data-driven planning processes. Improve monthly and quarterly reporting. Annual planning Quarterly forecasts Monthly outlooks Provide strategic analyses and recommendations. Conduct variance analysis of bookings, revenues, and expenses. Clearly explain business reasons for variances. Adjust outlook models based on operational changes.
Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required. Two or more years accounting experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting. Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles. Ability to correctly prepare tax reports. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
