Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

General ledger

• Preparation of the monthly general ledger information and entries.
• Review G/L Accounts and prepare monthly account reconciliations Cash
• Monthly Bank Reconciliations & Review of Cash Forecast.
• Supervise cash situation at any times
• Control bank statements and money transfers, etc. Inventory
• Help to prepare the yearend inventory count, including involvement in physical inventory & cycle counting. Assets
• Manage asset files
• Decide depreciation rates for assets
• Monitor assets acquisition monthly and record depreciation. Income statements
• Prepare monthly / yearly income statements Payables
• Help assign accounts to all payable invoices. Receivables
• Monitor payment of customers and help investigate customer issues with payment. Taxes

• Annual:

  Property tax (land, bldg., auto, equip., etc.), Franchise tax, Federal Income Tax

• Quarterly:

  Sales and Use Tax, Machinery Tax Annual financial audit

• Prepare items to send to Auditors.
• Compliance with the quality policy of the company governed by the

QM-system Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting required
• 2 years professional experience in accounting: Fixed Asset Accounting, bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and manufacturing accounting a plus.
• Advanced computer skills; included advanced excel experience
• Strong Organization skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Must be self motivated and willing to figures things out on their own.
• Team player and can collaborate with other teams in the organization.
• Demonstrate a proficient level of professional skill and/or knowledge in accounting and keep current with developments and trends. Knowledge and ability to use applicable information technology and systems to meet work needs.
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software professional experience, and Cost Accounting Knowledge.
