Income Tax Accountant Position Available In Iredell, North Carolina

The tax accountant is primarily responsible for assisting andsupporting the administration of corporate income and payrolltaxes, ensuring compliance with international, federal, state andlocal laws and regulations while minimizing the corporate taxburden of these areas through effective research, planning andinnovation. The position will have responsibility for managing,monitoring, tracking and reporting of various International,Federal, State and Local income and payroll tax complianceobligations. What you will do Will include preparation of international, federal, state and localincome and payroll tax returns; preparation and review of annualreports; assistance with interim and year end provision;preparation of account analyses and account reconciliations;assisting with the calculations for estimates and apportionment;providing documentation and support for jurisdictional auditdefense; tax research; assistance with credits and incentives;coordination with other departments; and special projects asnecessary. The Accountant will collaborate with many functional areas withinthe company. Most often the collaboration will be with other areasof Corporate Tax; Corporate Accounting; Legal; and Real Estate.

However, it is possible that other functional areas can be involvedas well. This collaboration is necessary in order to gatherrequired information for income and payroll tax disclosures ordocument requests from various taxing jurisdictions.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or 2+ years of tax and/or accounting experience (public orprivate) Masters in Accounting or Tax can be substituted for experience Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Excel,Access and Word Strong analytical skills with ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

Pay Range:

$59,800.00 – $99,900.00 annually Starting rate of paymay vary based on factors including, but not limited to, positionoffered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
