What it’s like to be a Senior Accountant at
ROUSH YATES MANUFACTURING SOLUTIONS
?As a Senior Accountant at Roush Yates Manufacturing Solutions, you will play a crucial role in our monthly closing process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting. You will manage customer invoicing and collections, while maintaining clear and professional correspondence with clients. This position also involves overseeing credit card processing and issue resolution, as well as managing the company’s credit card program. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing customer and vendor setups, handling annual 1099 filings, and conducting cost accounting for our manufacturing facility. Your expertise will help maintain strong internal controls, contributing to the overall integrity and excellence of our financial operations.
Requirements for this Senior Accountant jobKnowledge and skills required for the position are
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- Minimum three years prior accounting experience
- Manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- Advanced MS Excel functionality (pivot tables v-lookups
- Experience with ERP systems (Sage X3 is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; and/or work collaboratively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of
US GAAPPOSITION REQUIREMENTS
