Accountant Accentuate Staffing Smithfield, NC 27577 Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an Accountant for a well-established company located in Smithfield, NC 27577 . Job Responsibilities Develops and executes strategies and standards related to accounting policy, financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, budgeting, and financial systems and controls. Oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes. Coordinates the preparation of financial statements to ensure accuracy. Conducts routine analyses and audits of the organization’s finances. Presents findings to leadership for decision making and planning. Assists in developing internal controls and overseeing audits of policies and procedures Performs year-end audits and submissions to CPA for tax filings and Reviewed Financial reporting. Maintains working knowledge of tax law and filing to ensure federal, state, and local compliance. Responsible for 1099 tax form filing for multiple entities. Responsible for AP and AR functions. Manages cash flow and funding requests with ownership and lenders. Job Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting 5+ years of Accounting experience Construction Industry experience preferred Sage 100 experience preferred Supervisory experience preferred Strong Communication & Team Building skills Advanced EXCEL skills Strong knowledge of
