Accountant Position Available In Mecklenburg, North Carolina

Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our accounting team. This position is ideal for someone with approximately two years of experience in general accounting who is ready to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting key accounting functions, assisting with month-end close, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Help prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities + Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner + Assist in preparing financial statements and internal reports + Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes as needed + Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies + Participate in audits and assist with documentation requests + Identify opportunities for process improvement and support implementation of best practices + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial support as needed Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field + 1-3 years of professional accounting experience + Solid understanding of GAAP principles + Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) + Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) + Excellent organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
