As an Accountant you will act as contact for internal and external customers for accounting questions and are expected to work independently on moderately complex tasks such as preparing journal entries, spreadsheets and reports, and reconciling balance sheet accounts, as well as assisting in the yearly budget and year-end accounting review are also areas of performance.

Essential Functions:

Administrator of company credit card account. Completes weekly deposit of miscellaneous funds. Reconciles bank statements on a weekly and monthly basis. Completes various month-end journal entries and associated duties: Record and reconcile patient refunds weekly and monthly Maintains fixed assets and records depreciation Assist with Property Tax File preparation Complete bank covenant requirements

Skills and Abilities:

A successful candidate for this role will have high energy and actively demonstrate the organization’s mission and core values. ERP experience preferably with Workday. Proficiency in general ledger coding, account documentation, account reconciliation, clinic refund policies, bank deposit and filing principles..

Education required:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, unless there is at least a three to four year combination of an Associate’s degree and experience.

Experience required:

Two or more years’ experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Two or more years with accounting experience; reconciling of accounts and/or patient account experience preferred. Two or more years of background in business services in relation to patient accounts preferred.
