Job Description
Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Consolidation Accountant to join our finance team in Charlotte. In this role, you’ll take ownership of complex consolidation activities and play a key part in ensuring our financial statements are accurate, timely, and fully aligned with regulatory expectations. Key Duties:
+ Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes related to consolidation and intercompany eliminations. + Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies, U.S. GAAP, and Sarbanes-Oxley controls throughout reporting cycles. + Assist in compiling key disclosures for periodic external reports, including 10-Qs and 10-Ks. + Partner with leadership and external auditors to communicate financial results and support audit activities. + Build subject matter knowledge in corporate consolidations and grow into a go-to resource for reporting workflows. + Tackle complex accounting issues with a critical and solution-oriented mindset. + Deliver analytical insights and reporting support to guide strategic decisions. + Use enterprise systems to streamline reporting processes. Requirements + 4+ years of experience in accounting, with a concentration in financial reporting or corporate consolidations. + At least 2 years of hands-on experience with SEC filings or supporting consolidated reporting in a public company environment. + Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and familiarity with public company compliance requirements. + Advanced user of financial consolidation tools such as OneStream. + Proven track record of producing accurate, audit-ready financial documentation. + Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and a collaborative working style.
