Junior Accountant Swift Wholesale Charlotte, NC 28269 Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and be adept in various accounting software applications. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Duties Prepare and maintain accurate journal entries to ensure proper accounting records. Assist in regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with applicable laws Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and NetSuite for daily transactions and reporting. Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data. Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances, providing insights for management decision-making. Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations and resolve discrepancies. Skills Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and NetSuite. Strong understanding of debits and credits, ensuring accurate financial reporting. Excellent mentoring skills to guide less experienced team members. Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements related to financial statements. Solid understanding of day to day business activities pertaining A/R and A/P. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
