Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and motivatedSenior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This is a keyrole reporting to the Controller/Treasurer, responsible foroverseeing core accounting functions, ensuring compliance withinternal policies and accounting standards, and supportingfinancial decision-making through accurate reporting andanalysis.

Mission StatementTo deliver timely, accurate, andinsightful financial information that supports FCA’s growth andoperational excellence. Key ResponsibilitiesManage month-end andyear-end closing processes, including journal entries,reconciliations, and reporting.
Analyze and reconcile complexbalance sheet accounts, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets,and intercompany balances.
Prepare and review monthly financialstatements and ensure data integrity.
Support AR and AP functionsincluding billing, collections, vendor reconciliation, and paymentaccuracy.
Lead process improvements and ensure compliance with GAAPand internal controls.
Provide financial analysis and supportforecasting, budgeting, and cost tracking initiatives.
Participatein internal and external audits; prepare supporting documentationas needed.
Assist in ERP system maintenance and improvementinitiatives (SAP S/4HANA experience preferred).Collaborate with theController on process documentation, training, and teamdevelopment.
Additional DutiesMaintain vendor and customer recordsand ensure accuracy of billing/payment terms.
Investigate andresolve discrepancies in accounts receivable and payable.
Create andmanage internal checklists to monitor compliance with contractualand policy requirements.
Provide cross-functional support andcontribute to broader financial operations such as PO tracking andorder flow.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBAis a plus.7-10 years of progressive accounting experience;manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
Strongunderstanding of
U.S. GAAP
(IFRS knowledge a plus).Proven abilityto manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience workingwith ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA strongly preferred).Advanced Excelskills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, formulas) and proficiency withMicrosoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail, organizationalskills, and ability to communicate effectively across teams.
Highdegree of integrity and discretion when handling confidentialinformation.
