POSITION
Allspring is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team. We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 3 days a week. Location(s): Charlotte, NC
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with the monthly close process including preparation of journal entries with a focus on compensation accounting
Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and general ledger reliability
Assist with annual external audit
Prepare various financial reports and ad-hoc reports and analyze as needed
Participate in department sponsored projects and other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, CPA preferred
4+ years of general ledger accounting experience
US GAAP knowledge is required
Independent, self-starter, ready to work in a dynamic environment
Experience in compensation/payroll accounting, process improvement and reconciliation
Oracle is a plus
Experience with financial statement audits
Asset management or other financial institution experience is a plus
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with
Excel Base Pay Range:
$90,000 – $100,000 Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
