Job Description

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the finance industry for a Sr. Accountant based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role involves a variety of accounting duties including account reconciliation, general ledger maintenance, and processing journal entries. This position operates within a dynamic and fast-paced workplace.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
  • Manage balance sheet reconciliation with a high degree of precision
  • Oversee bank reconciliations, verifying and resolving discrepancies as necessary
  • Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of posted data
  • Process journal entries, ensuring the correctness of posted information
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data analysis tasks
  • Contribute to the month-end close process, ensuring timely completion
  • Operate NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP systems for various accounting activities Requirements
  • Possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation to ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date.
  • Proficient in Balance Sheet Reconciliation, capable of identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Experience with Bank Reconciliations, ensuring the company’s financial records match those of the bank.
  • Mastery of General Ledger management, overseeing all accounts to ensure correct financial reporting.
  • Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries, ensuring they accurately reflect the company’s financial transactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, utilizing it for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Capability to handle Month End Close processes, ensuring all financial activities for the month are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Expertise in using NetSuite for financial management and operations.
  • Familiarity with Oracle, particularly its financial management solutions.
  • Experience with SAP, particularly its financial and accounting modules.
