We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support our finance team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this long-term contract position, you will oversee critical accounting functions, prepare comprehensive financial reports, and ensure compliance with established accounting standards. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adept at managing multiple priorities. Ideal candidate will have Netsuite experience.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile accounts to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Conduct balance sheet and bank reconciliations to maintain financial consistency.
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger with a high level of accuracy.
• Lead the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze and present financial data effectively.
• Manage accounting processes using systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of detailed financial statements and reports.
• Proven experience in account reconciliation, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of general ledger management and journal entry preparation.
• Expertise in month-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions for data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
