Sr. Accountant Position Available In Mecklenburg, North Carolina

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Pineville, North Carolina. The selected candidate will join a team that is deeply involved in the finance industry, with a particular emphasis on account reconciliation and balance sheet management.

Responsibilities:

• Handle account reconciliation tasks with precision and efficiency
• Manage balance sheet reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Conduct bank reconciliations, maintaining clear and accurate records
• Oversee general ledger entries and updates, ensuring financial data integrity
• Prepare and post journal entries, maintaining up-to-date financial records
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting
• Execute month end close procedures, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date
• Operate Sage 300 and other Sage Accounting Software for financial management purposes
• Utilize Sage Intacct for efficient and accurate financial reporting
• Implement manual systems for order tracking, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded. Requirements
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required for this role.
• The candidate must have skills in Balance Sheet Reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations is necessary.
• The candidate should be adept at handling General Ledger tasks.
• The ability to manage Journal Entries is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
• The candidate should be skilled in Month End Close procedures.
• Experience with Sage 300 is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with Sage Accounting Software is necessary.
• Proficiency in using Sage Intacct is preferred.
