You’ll support core accounting functions including general ledger, cost accounting, fixed assets, and inventory while helping to streamline financial operations and drive accurate reporting. Assist in preparing financial statements and internal reporting packages for senior leadership. Maintain and track fixed asset records, including depreciation schedules. Support standard cost updates, inventory reconciliations, and cost of goods sold analysis. Conduct variance analysis and margin reporting to help drive profitability insights. Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and accounting policies. Participate in annual budgeting, forecasting, and external/internal audits. Manage AP invoice processing and employee expense reports. Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve cost and inventory processes. Identify and implement process improvements and support automation initiatives.
Requirements:
What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3-7 years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Solid understanding of GAAP, cost accounting, and inventory management. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar). Experience working with fixed assets and standard costing systems. Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent time management and adaptability in a fast-paced setting. CPA designation or progress toward certification is not required but would be a plus.
