ACCOUNTANT
Southland Entertainment, Inc is searching for an Accountant to join the team. As an Accountant you will be responsible for processing AP and GL ledger, process bank reconciliations, record asset purchases and maintain depreciation schedules. The successful candidate will prepare monthly financials, budgets and forecasts and provide other reports requested by the Controller. This role is for a confident, driven individual who will be comfortable working with a small team in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for digging into details, creating improvements, and being a team-player. Must be an organized individual who loves numbers and can switch gears easily when needed. Will need to be customer-oriented, a good problem solver, be attentive to detail and have effective time management skills. Must be able to work efficiently and independently without constant supervision. Requires an Associates degree in accounting (Bachelor’s degree preferred) and 2-3 years of experience as an Accountant. Knowledge of billing, cash application, accounts payable, and accounting procedures is required.
