The role will be based in Salisbury, North Carolina, 28145, United States. The primary function of this role is to manage multi-state sales and use tax compliance, oversee audits, and enhance processes. This role provides long-term contract employment opportunity in the Accounting Software Systems industry.

Responsibilities:

Oversee multi-state sales and use tax compliance Enhance audit processes and ensure compliance Manage indirect tax matters Provide guidance on tax impacts for corporate projects Mitigate audit exposure Utilize Vertex or OneSource for tax matters Maintain accurate customer credit records Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Provide excellent customer service Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ADP – Financial Services Proficiency in CaseWare Experience with CCH ProSystem Fx Knowledge of CCH Sales Tax Proficiency in Accounting Functions Experience in Auditing Familiarity with Bookkeeping Functions Strong understanding of Compliance Excellent Customer Service skills Experience with Tax – Sales & Use Knowledge of Tax Audits Familiarity with Vertex Sales & Use Tax Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
