The North Carolina Department of Transportation’s (NCDOT) is a very complex organization with an annual budget of over $3 billion. Its mission is to provide and support a safe and integrated transportation system for the citizens of North Carolina. The fiscal accountability and maintenance of DOT’s accounts receivable is a mass of diverse activities. It is extremely complex and requires skills comparable to utilizing a robust business system that provides meaningful, accurate, and timely information for the various needs of management, the fiscal section and both public and private end users. This position adheres to all Federal and State legislature and the departmental and administrative requirements.
