What you will do in this role This position will work closely with the Finance, Commercial Coordination, and Operations teams and is responsible for Manufacturing product costing. Responsibilities Maintain accurate current/budget costing in Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations. Model monthly future-based cost models for use in monthly financial projections and budgeting processes and large sales opportunities. Develop and analyze monthly cost communication to Leadership. Efficiently allocate costs and prepare related documentation. Reconcile Other COGS, freight and duty, revaluation and production variance accounts for month‐end close and complete any needed Journal Entries. Assist in tracking overhead cost for freight, fixed asset recovery, waste, and inventory write-offs. Report on major cost changes and summarize impacts. Model large project NPVs for evaluation. Assist with yearly audit. Periodic variance review and feedback for forecasting to drive process and system improvements. Communication with Commercial Coordination, Operations, and Customer Excellence. Required Skills/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required, CPA preferred Must have accounting / finance experience in a manufacturing organization with a minimum of 2 years experience in cost accounting. Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills, Advanced Excel skills Proactive communication (written and verbal) skills Strong initiative, organization, and extreme attention to detail Ability to react quickly to changing business needs Ability to work effectively across diverse and cross‐functional teams, under critical timelines while balancing the needs of internal and external customers Why Atticus?
