Cost Accountant Position Available In Wake, North Carolina

Job Description:

Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a CostAccountant in Cary, NC 27513. This position will work closely withthe Finance, Commercial Coordination, and Operations teams and isresponsible for Manufacturing product costing.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate current/budget costing in Microsoft DynamicsFinance and Operations. Model monthly future-based cost models foruse in monthly financial projections and budgeting processes andlarge sales opportunities. Develop and analyze monthly costcommunication to Leadership. Efficiently allocate costs and preparerelated documentation. Reconcile Other COGS, freight and duty,revaluation and production variance accounts for month?end closeand complete any needed Journal Entries. Assist in trackingoverhead cost for freight, fixed asset recovery, waste, andinventory write-offs. Report on major cost changes and summarizeimpacts. Model large project NPVs for evaluation. Assist withyearly audit. Periodic variance review and feedback for forecastingto drive process and system improvements. Communication withCommercial Coordination, Operations, and Customer Excellence.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required, CPA preferred Must have 5years of accounting / finance experience in a manufacturingorganization with a minimum of 2 years experience in costaccounting. Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills, AdvancedExcel skills S trong initiative, organization, and extremeattention to detail Strong communication skills Ability to workeffectively across diverse and cross?functional teams, undercritical timelines while balancing the needs of internal andexternal customers
