Full Job Description Overview:

Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join the corporate Finance and Accounting team in our Raleigh, NC headquarters. Responsibilities:

Prepare for and support the annual business planning process, including budgeting for firmwide operating expenses Assist with the year-end review which includes the preparation of external financial statements and various reconciliations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP Complete monthly operating expense projections Assist with the monthly financial statement consolidation process Prepare and analyze financial information for other teams as well as senior leadership Assist with the research and implementation of new accounting standards, as necessary Support our annual indirect cost rate audit on an as needed basis Assist with special projects among various teams nationwide

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA certification required 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Public Accounting Strong understanding of US GAAP Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent quantitative skills combined with an ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations High degree of professionalism and the ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization from new hires to senior executives Exceptional client service mentality and strong work ethic Outstanding communication skills Must be an excellent team player as well as work independently Why Kimley-Horn?: At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
