Job Description
Overview Kimley-Horn is looking for a Project Accountant to join our Raleigh, NC Office. Participating in initiatives to improve processes for our growing technology practice Responsibilities Monthly financial analysis and on-going revenue recognition of specific software development projects, ensuring accurate cost tracking, billing, and financial reporting. Meeting multiple critical deadlines on a monthly basis Managing the billing and invoicing processes for software projects, including preparing invoices, tracking revenue, and ensuring payments Track and maintain purchase orders related to various internal software projects Prepare invoices and complete monthly billing Coordinate and pursue receivables Occasional travel may be required Qualifications 4+ years of experience in Software Project Accounting Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals High degree of professionalism and strong people skills Must be an excellent team player Strong knowledge of Excel and Word required Experience using computerized accounting systems Knowledge of intercompany accounting processes preferred Why Kimley-Horn?
