Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a RevenueAccountant for our fast-growing client in Raleigh, NC 27612. TheRevenue Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate revenuerecognition in compliance with ASC 606 and will play a key part inanalyzing customer contracts, managing revenue schedules, andsupporting month-end close activities. The ideal candidate willbring a strong understanding of revenue recognition principles andproject billing.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain revenueschedules and related journal entries.
Analyze and reconciledeferred revenue accounts and ensure alignment with contractterms.
Apply ASC 606 principles to review customer contracts anddetermine appropriate revenue recognition treatment.
Support themonthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including revenueaccruals and reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of financialreporting and provide revenue insights to internalstakeholders.
Identify and implement process improvements tostreamline revenue recognition and reporting.
Ensure compliance withinternal policies, SOX controls, and relevant accountingstandards.
Leverage Sage Intacct to track, report, and reconcilerevenue data effectively.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree inAccounting, Finance, Business or related fieldMBA or CPApreferred3+ years of Revenue Accounting and Project Billingexperience requiredStrong working knowledge of ASC 606 stronglypreferredHands-on experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERPsystems.
