In addition to drug substance manufacture, it will also provide automated fill-finish and assembly, packaging, and labeling services. The new state-of-the-art facility is located in Holly Springs, North Carolina, United States. Job Description What You’ll Do Prepares detailed journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations and analytics to support financial reporting and control environment. Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and disclosures, supporting external reporting obligations and audit processes. Assists in maintaining effective internal controls over accounting processes, ensuring adherence to US GAAP, SOX, and JSOX requirements. Performs monthly and quarterly reconciliations of general ledger accounts, investigating and resolving any variances or discrepancies promptly. Manages the full lifecycle of fixed assets, including Right of Use (ROU) assets, acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, impairment testing, and disposal, ensuring adherence to US GAAP and company policies. Monitors and reports on capital project progress for local site projects and strategic capital initiatives. Assists with tracking, reporting and filing of grants, ensuring compliance with funding requirements and accurate financial representation in alignment with organizational objectives and accounting standards. Assists with tax information requests and data for annual tax return preparation. Assists with audit information requests and data for internal and external audits. Prepares and monitor cash flow forecasts to ensure optimal liquidity, identifying trends and variances to guide financial decision-making. Actively participates in accounting system user acceptance testing (UAT) for system automation and system enhancements. Identifies, presents, and implements solutions for process improvements, automation opportunities and enhanced area reporting capabilities. Maintains and regularly reviews and updates finance procedures applicable to the role. Performs ad hoc analysis, special projects and other duties as assigned Knowledge and Skills High level of integrity and ethical conduct in financial activities Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to resolve discrepancies. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Preferred Requirements / Certificates Experience in accounting auditing. Experience with revenue recognition principles and accounting.
