Job Description
Senior Accountant A local client is seeking a strong Senior Accountant to join their team. This individual will be responsible for daily accounting operations, including preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and related duties. Roles & Responsibilities Establish and maintain effective internal controls while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations Oversee month-end close processes, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger management across multiple locations Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts and monitor financial trends for accuracy and improvement opportunities Conduct in-depth financial statement analysis to identify discrepancies and opportunities for optimization Manage cash applications, postings, and customer billing to support revenue operations Assist with interim and year-end financial audits by preparing required documentation and reconciliations Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning
Qualifications:
BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, CPA is preferred 4+ years of public accounting experience Working knowledge of
GAAP, IFRS
