Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Record and analyze revenue and expense transactions in the general ledger. + Prepare accurate journal entries to support management reporting. + Maintain and reconcile subsidiary accounts to ensure data integrity. + Perform and analyze balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. + Enhance accounting accuracy and efficiency through process improvements. + Support budget preparation and respond to audit inquiries. + Review, analyze, and record payroll and related journal entries. + Ensure timely completion of state tax and compliance filings. + Manage insurance reporting requirements. + Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations. + Review and approve corporate credit card expenses. + Analyze monthly operating expenses against budget and prior periods. + Lead month-end close activities and ensure timely checklist completion. + Collaborate on ad hoc projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required. + 3-5 years of accounting experience. + Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel including Pivot tables. + Strong data analytical skills. + Excellent attention to detail. + Self Starter with good collaboration skills.
