Senior Technical Accountant Position Available In Wake, North Carolina

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct and document technical accounting research related to complex transactions such as revenue recognition, lease accounting, and consolidations. Prepare and review financial statements Stay ahead of accounting standard updates and implement best practices. Partner with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, and external auditors to ensure reporting accuracy. Identify and drive process improvements that enhance reporting efficiency and compliance. Act as a technical resource, mentoring junior accounting professionals and contributing to team development.

Qualifications:

CPA certification is highly preferred. 4+ years of experience in Accounting, preferably to include a mix of public accounting. Strong knowledge of GAAP reporting requirements, and technical accounting principles. Exposure to financial transactions, consolidations, and reporting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
