Sr. Accountant Position Available In Wake, North Carolina

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial processes and ensuring accuracy in reporting. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, analytical, and experienced in handling complex reconciliations and month-end close processes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Manage bank reconciliations to maintain accurate cash flow records.
• Oversee general ledger activities, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
• Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate financial statements.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation tasks.
• Lead month-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and reports are accurate.
• Work with financial systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to maintain and analyze accounting data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies in all financial activities. Requirements
• Proven experience in account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Proficiency in managing bank reconciliations and general ledger activities.
• Strong knowledge of journal entries and month-end close processes.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with financial system NetSuite
• Ability to work independently while meeting strict deadlines.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
