Staff Accountant 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars Raleigh, NC 27609 We’re looking for an organized and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team at TJT’s Outsource Accounting Services division. This is a full-time position collaborating with our accounting team to provide accounting support to our clients. We are looking for a candidate with accounting experience and an understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The Staff Accountant would provide a variety of accounting functions. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Payroll and payroll tax payments Bank reconciliations Prepare general ledger account reconciliations, accruals, and other necessary adjusting journal entries for month/quarter end close in a timely manner. General ledger analysis Sales tax Perform other daily and periodic accounting functions for assigned clients Other duties or projects as needed

Qualifications:

Two to three years of experience Demonstrated competency in using accounting software and executing various accounting processes An associate’s or bachelor’s in accounting or business is preferred Technical accounting skills are a plus
