Staff Accountant Position Available In Wake, North Carolina

Accounting Clerk | Cary, NC | $25-30/hr | Contract to Hire We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a degree in Accounting who’s ready to jump in and support our Accounting Manager with day-to-day financial operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily accounting tasks and month-end closing procedures
• Enter, track, and reconcile transactions in our accounting system
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Assist in preparing financial reports and documentation for internal and external use
• Maintain organized financial records in accordance with company and regulatory standards
• Work closely with the Accounting Manager to streamline processes and improve efficiency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to our lab’s unique financial processes
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a busy work environment
• Experience with Peachtree Accounting Software is highly preferred
