Staff Accountant Position Available In Wake, North Carolina

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for career growth and skill development. Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Perform bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the general ledger.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including generating reports and reconciling accounts.
• Maintain and update financial records using software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to support the implementation of new accounting processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports. Requirements
• Proven experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entries.
• Proficiency in financial software tools such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP.
• Familiarity with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to adapt to new processes and technologies in a dynamic environment.
