Staff Accountant Seymour Staffing Professionals, Inc. Raleigh, NC 27608 Description

• Complete the day-to-day accounting functions for multiple consumer products entities, including cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, month end closings, financial reporting and excise tax reporting
• Assist with the month end closings and financial reporting for additional consumer products entities
• Provide requested items for external audit and bank audit for two consumer products entities as requested
• Participate in contract review – customer, lease, services, etc.
• Prepare and file monthly import reports for consumer products entities’ importation of products
• Prepare and file various tax reports (e.g. sales and use, property, franchise, 1099s, etc.) for certain consumer products entities
• Support start-up entity as operations begin, including customer service and inventory management
• Provide support for business needs and processes, and seek improvement opportunities Requirements
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance
• 4-6 years experience across multiple financial areas
• SAP experience, proficiency in excel and other Microsoft Office products
• Multi-task oriented, organized and able to handle competing priorities to attain company goals
• Proficient in USGAAP
• Work well across entities, departments and management levels
