Since 1957, Hollingsworth Avent Averre & Purvis, PA, a full-service accounting firm located in Raleigh, NC, has provided closely held businesses and high net worth individuals with a full range of tax, audit and accounting services. Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a dedicated, self-motivated team player with 0-2 years of current public accounting experience to work on accounting and tax engagements. Working closely with our experienced staff and partners, you will prepare individual, business and non-profit tax returns; conduct tax research; occasionally assist with accounting and auditing engagements and develop professional client relationships. Qualifications

• 0-2+ years of current public accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration is preferred but not required
• CPA license or candidate is a plus, but not required
• Ability to be responsive to clients’ needs, problem solve, manage multiple tasks and deadlines and communicate effectively with clients and other associates
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical and PC skills including tax/accounting software proficiency (Thomson Reuters software proficiency is a plus) We provide a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and 401(k) plan.
