POSITION OVERVIEW
The Inventory Accountant will be responsible for managing inventory databases.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INVENTORY ACCOUNTANT
Assists with financial close activities, including preparing journal entries related to inventory and month-end reconciliations.
Reviews and monitors inventory transactions, working with teams to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Provides timely support for merchandise transfer and receiving inquiries from store locations.
Identifies and corrects systemic entry errors, ensuring proper posting of transactions.
Assists with reporting, data entry, inventory adjustments, and various business requests as needed.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE INVENTORY ACCOUNTANT
2+ years of relevant experience required.
Ability to communicate well with others.
High attention to detail.
Ability to problem solve.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE INVENTORY ACCOUNTANT
Warehouse Management System experience.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a related field is required.
