Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Milford, New Hampshire. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles, working collaboratively within a dynamic and multi-level organizational structure.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain internal and external financial statements and accounting reports.
- Review journal entries and ensure accurate classification of records and transactions.
- Conduct detailed analyses of general ledger accounts and recommend adjustments as necessary.
- Oversee fixed asset administration, including tracking assets from acquisition to disposal.
- Assist in managing intercompany transactions and multi-currency operations across divisions.
- Support month-end closing processes, including reconciliations and financial analysis.
- Contribute to the annual budgeting and strategic planning processes.
- Prepare audit schedules and collaborate on the annual audit process.
- Handle daily cash management and ensure timely billing and cash application processes.
- Review customer accounts and initiate collection efforts when required. Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, including general ledger and month-end closing.
- Proficiency in financial software, such as Hyperion, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting, including the full lifecycle of asset management.
- Experience with intercompany transactions and multi-level organizational structures.
- Familiarity with multi-currency operations and international divisions.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Proven ability to reconcile accounts, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
