Sr. Accountant Position Available In Hillsborough, New Hampshire

Description We are in search of a Part Time Sr. Accountant to add value to a team based in Amherst, New Hampshire. As a Sr. Accountant, your main role will be to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of all account-related operations, such as processing reconciliations, maintaining ledgers, and managing month-end closures. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Execute account reconciliations meticulously
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
• Undertake bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions
• Oversee general accounting duties to maintain financial health
• Maintain the general ledger to ensure accurate accounting data
• Prepare journal entries to record financial transactions
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze and present financial data
• Manage month-end close processes to maintain accurate financial records
• Operate Sage Intacct for accounting and financial management purposes. Requirements
• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve them in a timely manner
• In-depth understanding of Balance Sheet Reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial reports
• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations to verify the company’s financial records match those of the bank
• Solid knowledge of General Ledger management, including maintaining, updating, and reviewing accounts
• Capable of preparing accurate Journal Entries to record business transactions
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, able to use advanced functions for financial data analysis
• Experienced in Month End Close procedures, adept at preparing financial statements and reports
• Proficiency in using Sage Intacct for accounting and financial management tasks.
