The function of this role involves managing the reconciliation of accounts, ensuring accurate balance sheets, and handling bank reconciliations. The Sr. Accountant will also oversee the general ledger and take part in the preparation of financial statements.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure their accuracy.
- Handle the reconciliation of accounts accurately and promptly.
- Ensure the accurate maintenance of the general ledger.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations efficiently.
- Carry out bank reconciliations diligently.
- Process and record journal entries accurately.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting processes.
- Oversee the month-end close process and ensure its completion within the stipulated timeframe.
- Ensure balance sheet account reconciliation is done accurately and efficiently. Requirements
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
- Expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
- Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
- Proficient in maintaining and managing the General Ledger
- Experience with Journal Entries
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel for accounting purposes
- Experience in Month End Close processes
- Skills in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
