Accountant – Entry Level Position Available In Bergen, New Jersey

Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Park Ridge, New Jersey. This is a contract to permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for growth and hands-on experience in accounting and finance. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of business concepts and be eager to develop their skills in a focused and organized environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice reviews and payment scheduling.
• Print and prepare checks for vendor payments and other financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing balance sheet reports and maintaining proper documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Participate in training sessions for new software tools and systems as needed. Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance field.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and basic accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting software, including Acumatica.
• Effective communication skills for team collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous internship or academic experience in accounting is a plus but not required.
