Accountant (2-3 Month Assignment) 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Rancocas, NJ 08073 Our Client in Rancocas, New Jersey is seeking an Accountant for a 2 – 3 month assignment. This assignment will have full-time hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. The role offers $25-$28 per hour based on experience.
Job Duties:
Manage accounts receivable; verify payments and deposits made through the bank account and coordinate with the bank. Manage weekly/monthly payroll activities and prepare monthly payroll report. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations and bank reconciliations. Identify discrepancies in ledgers and accounts, tracking them to the source and correcting them. Perform basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, processing the mail, etc. Assist the controller with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.
Requirements:
2+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience. Familiarity with basic accounting principles. Proficiency with computers and accounting software. Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive. Good problem-solving and time management skills.
