Accounting Consultant Position Available In Hudson, New Jersey

Description A client in Secaucus, NJ is currently seeking a strong Accountant on a consulting-basis who has been directly involved with SAP Fiori adoption and implementation to support the Change Management team. The Accountant will liaise among IT and accounting staff to understand business processes, and create business process documents for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GL transactions, and general variance analysis. Prior experience in a Change Management capacity or champion would be helpful. Ideally, the Accountant will have recent experience working on the SAP S4/Hana and Fiori. Regular travel to the client’s site in Pennsylvania will be required (and reimbursed). • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting, including month-end close and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in SAP Fiori and SAP S4/Hana
• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entry preparation.
• Experience with account and bank reconciliations.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
