Job Details Senior Accountant Jersey City, NJ -Full-Time We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SeniorAccountant to join our growing residential real estate companybased in Jersey City, NJ. This role will be responsible formanaging property-level financials, assisting with month-end close,and ensuring compliance with internal controls. The ideal candidateis highly organized, proactive, and experienced with Yardiaccounting software. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly andquarterly financial statements for multiple residential propertiesReconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, and general ledgeraccounts Process journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as partof the monthly close Review and maintain property budgets andforecasts Manage CAM reconciliations, rent rolls, and tenant ledgeranalysis Work closely with property managers and leadership toensure financial accuracy Assist with audits and year-end reportingUtilize Yardi for all property accounting functions

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 3-5 years of accountingexperience, preferably in property or real estate accountingProficiency with Yardi is required Strong Excel skills and comfortworking in ERP/accounting systems Excellent attention to detail,time management, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

CPA or CPA track highly preferred Experience in residential realestate or property management accounting Familiarity with GAAP andreal estate-related tax/audit processes
