Senior Property Accountant – Commercial Real Estate Our clientis a reputable real estate investment and development firm withover 30 years of industry success, is seeking a Senior PropertyAccountant to join their growing team. This company has experiencedrapid expansion in recent years and offers a fantastic long-termopportunity with significant career advancement potential. In thisrole, you will take ownership of the financial reporting andaccounting processes for a portfolio of commercial real estateproperties, working closely with a collaborative team ofprofessionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and analyze generalledgers for a portfolio of commercial properties. Prepare monthly,quarterly, and annual financial statements and variance reports.
Develop and update budgets and forecasts in collaboration withexecutives and property managers. Prepare and distribute monthlyfinancial packages to internal stakeholders, lenders, andregulatory agencies. Perform CAM and real estate taxreconciliations. Review lease agreements to ensure accurate tenantbilling. Assist with internal and external audits. Mentor andsupervise junior accounting staff. Build and maintain strong tenantand team relationships.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree inAccounting, Finance, or a related field. 3 years of experience incommercial real estate property accounting. Strong knowledge oflease provisions; ability to interpret legal lease documents.
Proficiency in CAM reconciliations. Experience with propertyaccounting systems such as Yardi, MRI, or Sage (preferred).Familiarity with construction accounting and AIA billing is a plus.
Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and attention todetail. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Salary Range:
