Real Estate Fund Controller (CN)
Bedminster, NJ (Hybrid)
$130-150K + Bonus
My client is an established Real Estate Investment Company. They are looking for a Fund Controller that will oversee a dedicated Fund Accounting team responsible for tracking investment activity, managing the accounting activity of investment vehicles and supporting investor reporting. Full oversight of the day-to-day accounting and financial statements of a portfolio of fund partnership vehicles focused on real estate investments.
Responsibilities:
Lead and guide Investor Reporting team members, ensuring accuracy and insight. Cash management at the project, entity and fund levels including weekly review of cash requirements. Manage liquidity for investment vehicles. Prepare monthly financial statements and quarterly investor reports. Ensure compliance with REIT regulations. Review work prepared by the fund administrators. Track and reconcile investment cash flow activity. Manage process for delivering quarterly and annual investor reports.
Requirements
5-10 years in accounting within real estate or construction industry required. Understanding of NPV and IRR. Prior public accounting experience & CPA preferred. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Yardi experience highly preferred. Experience with partnership and fund accounting concepts.
