Description We are looking for a motivated Entry Level Accountant to join our team in Sparta, New Jersey. This long-term contract position is ideal for individuals eager to apply their accounting knowledge and technical skills in a dynamic insurance industry environment. You will play a key role in managing financial processes, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting collections and accounts receivable tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts receivable tasks, including managing invoices and payments with accuracy.
• Perform collections activities to ensure timely recovery of outstanding balances.
• Process billing operations and verify transactions for completeness.
• Conduct data entry with precision, transferring information between systems as required.
• Utilize advanced Excel features such as V-lookups and pivot tables to analyze and manage financial data.
• Provide exceptional customer service to address inquiries related to billing and collections.
• Monitor and reconcile financial records to maintain up-to-date accounts.
• Support the team with administrative tasks and documentation related to accounting processes. Requirements
• Proficiency in accounts receivable processes and medical collections.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including V-lookups and pivot tables.
• Excellent customer service abilities to handle inquiries professionally.
• Experience with data entry and transferring information between systems.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy in financial transactions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in billing or collections is preferred.
